The Brisbane Bullets are excited to announce the launch of their Community Club Partnership Program—a dynamic initiative crafted to provide junior clubs throughout South-East Queensland with valuable developmental prospects for their coaches. This program aims to grant club coaches exclusive access to coaching accreditation, clinics, and tailored support delivered by the experienced Brisbane Bullets Game Development staff.

We are delighted to announce Belmont Saints Basketball Club as the inaugural member of this initiative.

To basketball players, Belmont Saints believes in the importance of training together and playing together guided by smart, talented and dedicated coaches, with the best tools to drive team cohesion and alignment

I’ve missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. Twenty-six times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.

I’ll do whatever it takes to win games, whether its sitting on a bench waving a towel, handing a cup of water to a teammate, or hitting the game winning shot. The important thing is that your teammates have to know you’re pulling for them and you really want them to be successful.

The minute you get away from fundamentals–whether its proper technique, work ethic, or mental preparation–the bottom can fall out of your game, your schoolwork, your job, whatever you’re doing.

I’ve always been an unselfish guy, and that’s the only way I know how to play on the court and I try to play to the maximum of my ability – not only for myself but for my teammates.

This year I've just been aggressive. I still have that mindset of passing the ball, and being aggressive and attacking to the basket is going to draw more attention, and that way I can find my teammates. Being in attack mode is something I try to bring into every single game, and that's what's making me be so successful.

It doesn't matter where you come from, what you have or don't have, what you lack, or what you have too much of. But all you need to have is faith in God, an undying passion for what you do and what you choose to do in life, and a relentless drive and the will to do whatever it takes to be successful in whatever you put your mind to.

I'm busy working on every aspect of my game - defense, shooting, rebounding - but I really want to become a better overall team player. Help my teammates become better players out on the court in order to win more ball games.

My advantage is attacking, regardless of who's in front of me. That's my advantage. And I've got to use my advantage to help my team and help myself.

Just try to make an impact on the game somehow whether it is on the defensive or offensive end. I think that has always been something that I have hung my hat on especially offensively. If it is not the night, then go make a play defensively and get after, dive for loose balls, create a charge, make an impact that way.

Each of our teams has an individual coach for games and weekly individual team training sessions

We are all about providing a home for the beginner, intermediate and advanced players. We pride ourselves in providing each of our teams an individual coach that will promote high quality development, and high quality participation experiences in a positive environment.

We aim to have the same coach running your training session each week as well as your game coaching. Both training and game environments are delivered to promote self confidence, knowledge, improvement and camaraderie to ensure maximum enjoyment and excellence.

Breaking Away From the “Cookie Cutter” Moulds…

Our coaches are committed to providing a positive environment both on the court and off the court as well as wanting to unlock the possibilities and potential in each player.

Even if you have never played basketball before, our coaches will start with the fundamentals and continue to develop your skills whilst you experience the joy of contributing to a team.

All of our coaches hold a valid blue card or volunteer blue card to ensure the safety of your children.

We are always looking for members who want to keep fit, stay social and have fun. We’ve got multiple teams for any level of experience, so whether you’re an experienced player returning to the court after a long break, or someone who is new to the game, we’ve got a place for you.

Junior Basketball Teams Brisbane

Junior Representative Basketball

Creating coordinated programs, Belmont Saints can even provide a pathway for our junior players to gain regional, state and national selection.
