Containers for Change
There are many families doing it tough right now. Whether it be due to the down turn in business due to Covid19 Lockdowns or other health or community issues, the Belmont Saints community is a community that is based around your family. And when we say “we are in this together” – we actually mean it!
As such Belmont Saints Basketball Club is now registered for the Containers for Change Scheme.
This scheme is where you can recycle your cans and bottles and you get a 10 cent refund for every eligible container you return. To donate to Belmont Saints Basketball Club – Just simply return your containers and use the Scheme ID above. Take a photo with your phone to save the Scheme ID.
All funds received from the return of containers will be donated to those families who need a helping hand. If you are a family who is doing it tough, or if you know of a family who needs a helping hand – please contact me confidentially on info@belmontsaintsbasketball.com.au so that we as a community can help. But this will rely on all of us to help each other.
Other reason for us getting behind this initiative, is to increase recycling, reduce litter, and create jobs – to help our planet for our children and our children’s children.
