1. Photo and Video Usage

Our club may occasionally post photos and videos of our members, particularly during events, practices, and games, on our official social media accounts.

Full names of children will not be used in any posts, captions, or comments without explicit consent from a parent or legal guardian. In the absence of such consent, a first name may be used only or alternatively we may identify by their team name and division in the competition only.

2. Parental Consent

By enrolling your child in our basketball club, we assume that we have your consent to post photos and videos featuring your child on our social media platforms unless you inform us otherwise.

If you do not want your child’s images or videos to be shared, please notify us in writing at social.media@belmontsaintsbasketball.com.au as soon as possible.

3. Respect and Privacy

Please be respectful when commenting on posts. Do not share personal information, including phone numbers, addresses, or sensitive details about other members.

Do not tag members in photos or posts without their permission.

In circumstances where a player/parent/guardian has declined social media consent, the club will take all reasonable steps to protect their identity in published images, including the use of blurring or emoji overlays to obscure the face, especially in group or team photographs.

4. Reporting Inappropriate Content

If you come across any content that you find inappropriate, offensive, or in violation of these guidelines, please report it to the club administrators immediately via social.media@belmontsaintsbasketball.com.au

5. Club Updates and Announcements

Our social media platforms are used to share important club updates, announcements, and news. Please check these platforms regularly to stay informed about club activities.

6. Termination of Membership

Violation of these terms and conditions may result in us taking actions such as the termination of your membership with the basketball club.  By participating in our basketball club and engaging with our social media platforms, you agree to abide by these guidelines. We reserve the right to modify or update these terms at any time, so please review them periodically.
